🐬💙 Hello, Dolphin Families! 💙🐬

My name is Mr. Eze’, but you can call me Mr. E! I am so excited to be joining the OceanAir Early Childhood Center family, and I am looking forward to getting to know all of our amazing Dolphins and their families this school year!

This is my fifth year as a School Counselor, but I have been a part of Norfolk Public Schools since 2005. Over the years, I have had the opportunity to serve as an administrator and in several other roles at both the elementary and high school levels. Becoming a School Counselor has been a very rewarding part of my journey, and I am excited to continue that work with our youngest learners.

As the School Counselor, I will be here to support your child academically, socially, and emotionally. Throughout the school year, I will work with our students to help them:

Most importantly, I want every child to feel safe, supported, heard, and valued while they are at school. I believe that when children feel comfortable and connected, they are better able to learn, grow, and thrive.

A little about me—I earned my master’s degree in Urban Education and School Counseling from Norfolk State University and my Ed.S. from Old Dominion University. I am currently working toward my Ph.D. in Counselor Education and Supervision at Old Dominion University. So, yes… I am always learning too! 📚😊

When I’m not at school, I enjoy spending time with my family and my identical twin brother. I love to travel, cook, shop, read, watch sports, eat seafood, and learn about different cultures. I am also a military brat, so my family and friends are spread out all over the world. 🌎✈️

I am truly looking forward to an exciting year filled with learning, growth, new friendships, and lots of fun! I cannot wait to watch our Dolphins learn, grow, and make a BIG splash this school year! 🐬🌊💙
